Territorial Merchandising
Project developed with University of Camerino for Servizi Italia | Ascoli Piceno, Italy | June 2015
The city of Ascoli Piceno and the whole Piceno area have been analyzed and studied to created a range of products for territory merchandise and retail. The mission of the project was to connect tourists to the Piceno area through special items. All items had to be produced with digital fabrication with a competitive end price and attractive looks.
Picenus-rings are fun skyline rings that wrap different Ascoli’s views around the finger. Picenus-rings encapsulate the architectural highlights of the most important structure of Ascoli Piceno, all are available in recycled materials, from colourful plastic to different types of wood.

In collaboration with the company, I also designed a series of graphics illustrating various types of amphorae used by ancient Piceno inhabitants for different liquids. Each amphora shape corresponded to a specific type of liquid, with graphics detailing the type, manufacturing process, capacity, origin, and typical contents of each amphora variant.
